[DANCE] Quick! What do Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera and Kevin Federline have in common? (Sorry, this is not an off-color joke). The answer is, regardless of their less than inspiring behavior, they're all really, really good dancers—which is a skill that comes in handy, especially if you're trying to break the ice at an awkward high school dance. Bring the kiddies to Studio Maui this Thursday and Friday, and they'll learn to do more than just "lean back" and shake their "laffy taffy." Tito Reyes, a former Maui Arts & Cultural Center theater guest instructor now dancing, choreographing and teaching in Los Angeles, will be hosting this youth dance camp. Admission is only $5, which is far cheaper than the cost of the humiliation of being "served" in front of your classmates. So hide the PS2 and head up to Haiku for the last two days of this event. Maybe one day your son or daughter will be the next M.J., XTina, or K-Fed—on the dance floor, anyway. Call 575-9390 or visit www.thestudiomaui.com. [COREY NIELSEN]
