[MUSIC] Legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist Stephen Stills is famous for a lot of very good reasons. He was a core member of the blues and rock group Buffalo Springfield before he helped form the super-group Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young). He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, making Hall history. And he ranked high on Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." He was also buddies with Jimi Hendrix, which is just cool. But if I had to single out my personal favorite reason why Stephen Stills rocks, it would be for his words of undeniable wisdom: "If you can't be with the one you love, honey, love the one you're with." I'm sure this simple line has consoled countless star-crossed lovers and bored, desperate housewives since it was first uttered. Stills has clearly earned his bragging rights and now he's bringing re-mastered classics and brand new material with him to wow the Maui crowd. Tickets: $45, $35. For info call MACC, 242-7469.
