[FUNDRAISER] It's only natural that we all think our own dog is the prettiest, smartest, sweetest dog on the island. But Kahu, my roommate's nine-year-old Rottweiler, really is the most adorable and intelligent dog around. Come show off your pooch (who I'm sure is a close second to Kahu) at the Bark in the Park Walk for Animals annual fundraiser for the Maui Humane Society. There will be goodies (both for the doggies and their owners), contests for cutest pet trick and fastest tail waggin', and prizes for most money raised. Add to that a lot of walking, chasing, sniffing, licking, shaking and slobbering canine fun. You don't even need to have a dog of your own to join the party, there are plenty of Humane Society dogs that need someone to hold their leash (and don't be surprised when you want to take that sweet little pup home!)
