Remove Images Spin Cycle Mike Huckabee is Trickle Minded by Jacob Shafer November 18, 2010 Last week, former Arkansas Governor, weight-loss guru and unofficial Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appeared on Geraldo Rivera's FOX News show to talk about the Bush tax cuts, and specifically whether they should be extended for the wealthiest Americans. He thinks they should, and here's why: "This is money they spend. And if they spend it on a jet, somebody has to wash the jet, service the jet, fuel the jet. It's job creation." Ah yes, the famous Theory of Private-Jet Job Creation--first proposed by Adam Smith, if I'm not mistaken. Reminds me of a Bill Maher joke about trickle-down economics: "They're actually saying, we're pissing on you."
