Jam 4 Japan at Charley's Restaurant and Saloon

We may live on a rock, but none of us live under rocks—at least not enough to not know that our fellow man in Japan is still in need. Fortunately, good folks have come together to create good-time events for this good cause. This Friday (April 29, 1pm-1am, $20), Charley's Restaurant & Saloon hosts a Jam 4 Japan "culture and roots event" benefiting the American Red Cross's tsunami relief efforts. The phat lineup includes Riddum of Knowledge, Arise, Murray Thorne and Mana'o Radio, among many others. It's family friendly and admission gets you a cool commemorative T-shirt. [charleysmaui.com]
