I always felt a twinge of jealousy when I saw people carrying around the adorable totes and I finally had to check the place out myself. Let me say, as amazing as the bags are, they are the least impressive thing about Mahina. The clothes are chic, fashionable and totally adapted to island life. Even their accessories have a flamboyant vintage look, from psychedelic purses to rose rings to beaded bracelets. If you like your dresses colorful, light and airy, Mahina is where it’s at. (And those cool reusable bags? They’ll give you a discount if you bring them in.)
