This is great, except Paia’s not a town--it’s the funkiest, most bohemian intersection on Maui. This is the Northshore at its finest, with boutiques, shops, hangouts, restaurants, bars, stores, galleries, spas, a Buddhist temple and little nooks and crannies that defy explanation. Here’s where you can find some of the best shave ice on the island, as well as some killer fish burgers and flat bread pizzas. Baldwin Beach is just a few yards from the town, as is a very old graveyard. Day or not, your visit to Paia Town will be interesting.
