Yeah, yeah, Wok Star has great noodles. I know you can get them in all sorts of configurations from dry mein to ramen, plus plenty of flavor varieties such as teriyaki or curry. But have you tried the peanut butter and bananas? It’s called a Jaffel. Just a pressed sandwich, really—peanut butter, honey and bananas on Hawaiian sweet bread—then cut into triangles and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Very simple, straightforward and impossibly delicious. Wok Star sells them, along with the tasty noodle dishes. Get one early in the day or late in the evening, it matters not; they’re open from 7am to midnight so its your choice. Just get one.
