A very popular counter-service restaurant, Matteo's features a basic menu of pizzas and Italian cuisine but with fresh ingredients and in creative combinations. The Ligurian Pizza is topped with shrimp, Mascarpone cheese and Genovese Pesto while the Gianna's Salad contains mixed greens, Radicchio lettuce, tomates, and bleu cheese all tossed with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The restaurant is open-air and overlooks the one of Wailea's many golf courses. Prices are reasonable and food is excellent.
