To the independent thinking but non-listening hairdresser who hacked my hair so badly that I'm now required to wear hats and stay inside for the next couple weeks till I look human again: is it so hard to look at someone's hair and see what the style is, and then replicate it? Is it so hard to listen to what the customer asks for and then do your best to send them home happy? I guess so, or maybe the joke is on me. See, I went home feeling absolutely bummed and looking like Alfalfa from

! As I write this it's Friday night and I am staying in, because I would be ashamed to be seen in public now. All I wanted was a trim, but you did so, so much more than that. What's more, my friends say that my experience was actually pretty common. Are there any good hairdressers out there? If so, why do they continue to elude me?
