There’s never been any doubt in my mind that coffee is a ridiculously addictive substance. Why else would so many millions of normal, otherwise healthy and intelligent people pour such a disgusting substance down their gullet? It’s the color of mud even if you don’t insist on thinning it with cream, its smell is hardly what I want to wake up to in the morning and it tastes foul—in fact, a gagging reflex is overcoming me as I write these words.
