[SCCA SOLO II RACING] Let’s say you drive a Porsche—or even a Ford Escort. Let’s say you want to test your car’s cornering limits, and you have the driving skills to do it. Let’s say that you probably aren’t interested in speeding tickets, never mind possible jail time, for that matter. Good news! The Maui SCCA has a venue for you to act out your Mario Andretti fantasies. All you need is a car, a Snell 95 approved helmet, and be willing to help out during the heats you’re not racing. Oh, and a little money—$20 for SCCA members and $25 for non-members. The racing track is determined by traffic cones, within the confines of the Maui Race Park area.
