[FILM/MUSIC/SPORT] This outdoor family event celebrates the weird and wonderful world of bodyboarding, with three world premiere films, Shaka Shack food and music by DJ Addamon. The films include The Vortex—about island life and boarding on Maui, Tahiti and Oahu; Stereotype Remix, featuring local riders from Maui; and Paia Bay Spongers, shot by local kids with funny outtakes of our Maui lifestyle. You can bring your lawn chairs and blankets but leave the coolers at home. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. NOT a drive-in event; walk-in only. Tickets in advance: $5, available for purchase at the Foam Company in the Maui Mall. Tickets at gate: $7. Presented by MauiFest Hawai‘i.
