[FESTIVAL] There’s a whole lot of shaking going on, but not the kind that makes you tune into the tsunami watch or bang on your apartment ceiling to remind the neighbors that the walls are really thin. It’s the 10th Annual Tahitian Festival, taking place at War Memorial Gym. You’ll be treated to traditional dance and drumming, all done by gorgeous, exquisitely dressed performers. These performers radiate warmth in their smiles, tans and full bodies. Unlike some of us, who are socially awkward, haven’t gone to the beach in a while and are full in all the wrong places.
