DOESN’T AGREE, NAME-CALLS
This letter is in response to Anthony Pignataro’s column Coconut Wireless, June 5
Mokulele Utility Poles - The highway paving crews have little to do with MECO moving their utility poles and lines on time. Also, not to mention that we’re in for the same 6-year routine for the Lahaina Bypass. You know... We wouldn’t want to offend anyone’s cultural sensibilities now would we? Don’t hear anyone else complaining about people jamming up the process at all do we? Why don’t you report on that?
Troops - So if we’re not winning we pull em out. If we are winning, we better get out ASAP so we can pull out and leave things just barely a mess enough for them to fall apart again. A wise strategist you are Piggy. We’ll be sure to pull Defeat out from the jaws of Victory!

HATES THE LC
The following two letters are in response to Anthony Pignataro’s column LC Watch, “Drunk on Power”, June 5.
Until there is a “revolt” of some sort or someone decides to go “postal” at an LC meeting, the fun police will be in full force. Go chase underage kids at the resorts already, see it almost every day. Go cite the parents of the kids who give them a mai tai or pina colada around the pool in Ka‘anapali or Lahaina. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

The Maui LC’s time is up. This ain’t Nazi Germany, no where else in the country is the LC this corrupt. The case has been built, the evidence has been obtained, no more envelopes, no more petty violations that are really just intimidation. I can’t wait to see your butts in court. Maybe then Maui could actually have a decent music scene and maybe some quality venues. The problem is right now that no one wants to open a venue and invest with an LC that is clearly out of fucking control. You can fine me for that...
