All girls deserve a night out. Especially with the upcoming holiday season, a girl’s gotta take her joy wherever she can. Because in a few weeks, so many women will become slaves trapped in the kitchen and be forced to pretend to be happy about the accomplishments of all those other kids who aren’t theirs. (Of course, since I’m single and childless, I’ll just be pretending not to hear my relatives whisper about my eventual spinsterdom.) So, all the wahines of Maui are encouraged to get a jumpstart on their “holiday” shopping in Makawao Town, where shops will be staying open late. In addition, shops will be offering free wine tasting, grab bags and coupons. Ladies, go ahead and pamper yourselves. You deserve it. C’mon, wine tasting and shopping? It really couldn’t be better, unless the words “chocolate” and “massage” were thrown into the mix.
