For me, high school was naught but melancholy and infinite sadness. So prom was just one long slow dance with my journal, brooding about how everything sucks. Yet despite all my rage, there’s still a wee, whiny part of me that wishes I’d had the guts to get gussied up and ask a guy out. If you’re like me and need a second shot at prom—or if you’re one of the cool kids looking to relive that big night (but this time, with legal booze)—head to Diamonds Ice Bar & Grill this Saturday (May 7, 10pm) for an adults-only prom party featuring DJ Illz. A photo booth will be on hand to commemorate the evening, and I won’t hold it against you if you paste the printouts in your yearbook (in fact, please pass the tape).
