It’s easy to see why MauiTime readers love Wokstar; it’s got a great, convenient location on South Kihei Road and their Asian-fusion dishes are fresh and fast. Nowhere else on the planet (that we know of) can you find peanut butter and jelly jaffel sandwiches, noodle bowls and spring rolls on one menu. They open at 9am and even have a breakfast chow fun for die-hard noodle fans. They’re also open ‘til midnight for late-night eaters; there’s nothing like scarfing a bowl of kung pow—featuring spicy chili and veggies with egg noodles—after a few beers. The noodle menu is also very vegetarian friendly: all dishes start veggie and you add meat and protein options as desired.
