So what I am hearing is that an adult woman thinks it is a "perversion" for a man to be sexually attracted to a 16 year old girl.

What planet is this woman living on? If it disturbs her that men want to mate with nubile girls, I would invite her to reflect on the phrase "it is better to slipper your own feet, than to carpet the entire world." In other words, grow up, sort out your own neuroses, and stop dumping your problems on men.
