FYI. I have smoked pot nearly everyday for 20 years now. Starting in College, I graduated, till now. I have never had a desire to try any hard drugs in my life. I am also a productive member of society and would like to let you know that there are plenty of other well known Maui residents and Maui County Employees that regularly smoke pot and raise healthy happy families.

From what I understand the original War on Pot began in the 1920's when white people began using Marijuana like the Mexicans and Negroes at the time. The rich white religious establishment in an attempt to penalize those races began to outlaw Marijuana. This is true, I just don't know the name of the law enacted at the time. A slew of propaganda has continued ever since (like the 'Curious' person posing as a teenager to frighten your family in these comments). Remember, the main reason you think pot is a gateway drug is based on racist policies, NOT THE BIBLE. Jesus has nothing against Pot and many other things your church teaches you to be against.
