More Respect for Genuine People
April 21, 2010 | 10:44 PM

Yes, I would be more okay with someone I met who was organizing a "Sex Dungeon" than a sweat lodge. It would strike me as more genuine, more sincere. I have been invited to sweat lodges at Twin Falls, and it just turns me off. For me, spirituality or whatever you call it isn't supposed to be something you have to do in a group to show how much you conform to the hippie fashion fad of the day. Or something you should lead to get people to trust you by conning them to think how "pono" you are (Lei'ohu Ryder, take note, maybe you can learn from your betters here).

I truly believe that someone who invited me to a Sex Dungeon--while I would not be especially interested, probably--would be a more spiritually mature person that this "Native American brudda" or, say, Granny Lei'ohu.
