Not to be a Dick..but...

Native X92.5 just held a battle of the bands for their kind of music. One of the judges who works for Native got sloppy and wanted to get on stage with one her friends' bands during the competition. That band ended up winning the whole competition.

That scenario stank more than your accusations about the judging at the Mulligan's Battle. The crowd response was deafening for MOTH, the fact that they know Erin means little. Hundreds of people know Erin on this island and the Jameses for that matter. The funny part for me was looking at the judge from Native 92.5 at Mulligans that night, she had a look a horror on her face like the devil was there to eat all those little hopeful Jawaiian souls. She definitely didn't get it.

And what's with all this talk of how our local bands would never make it on mainland? Defenders of Jawaiian? If any music ain't gonna make it on the mainland it's Jawaiian. I happen to like Jawaiian myself, but don't fool yourselves. It's a local only thing, unlike Moth and the other rock bands there that night.

To quote "Locals Get the Skillz" - "Maui's people have spoken, reggae is the sound we like hear" Who says? Pacific Radio Group, OC16 and Hot Hawaiian Nights? LOLf'nL They chose to not promote or market Haole Rock Music, that doesn't mean the people that live in Hawaii don't like it.

Whatever, I will continue to enjoy music in a non-competitive way and laugh at all the drama surrounding the word "best"
