Movies are boring
August 26, 2010 | 02:12 PM

I'd prefer simple human interaction to dull screen staring. Television is excruciatingly boring to me, and so lately have most movies been too. After being bombarded with all these crazy, over-the-top stories and ridiculous scripts, not much on the screen seems to surprise me anymore. I used to LOVE video games like Final Fantasy, Super Mario World, Zelda, etc. They stimulated my imagination when playing Legos, giving me new ideas of adventures for my characters to go on. I probably was therefore more self-sufficient than most children. Magic the Gathering cards stimulated me too. But in all honesty, I believe I have grown out of these silly old tales. And as a result, I have found myself very bored with life in general; those creative and fun play times of my childhood have been replaced with studying and learning things about the world, reading novels, and the like. I'm too old for pretending to be something I'm not. People are infinitely more interesting than these imaginary portals.
