Lets take a step back for a moment

Yes, Mike works for a business that is based around tourism, but tourism is what Maui depends on no matter how you look at it. It brings in the vast majority of our revenue. After all, almost all of us work for a business that is affected by visitors. As such an integral part of our economy, it is the obvious and most logical aspect to focus on. With the all the money spent by visitors and the high taxes imposed on them, we the residents benefit greatly. This money helps out our non-profits, government organizations, small businesses and large businesses either directly or indirectly. All are pieces to our Maui puzzle and they all have their roll. MVB helps them get here, so we can live here. Have a lovely day!
