This article although extremely well written and eloquent, was incredibly sad. I LOVED hiking Swinging Bridges back in the days I lived on Maui. There is nothing more beautiful than the West Maui Mountains and reading this article brought me right back. Being able to get away from touristy areas and go back into ancient Hawaii was awesome. It saddens me to see that a company can block access to ancient land. Land that belonged to Hawaiians long before a company came along and took over. Shame on you. Karma will get you in the end. You think of that every night before you go to bed at night in your mansion.
