Thank You Maui Time for not informing me of Occupy Maui's last-minute testimonial blitz against the Maui Bus fare raise on Tuesday Maui County Council meeting. I had some damning testimony that could've help the protestors, but alas, never found out until AN HOUR before the Council convened. Did OM have a communication breakdown with you guys, or did they piss off you guys in some way we don't know about?

This seems to be the norm for MT. Either you print major go-to events 24-36 hours BEFORE the thing starts, thereby not giving people enough time to arrange their schedules to go to them, which would be a boon to the events in foot traffic and revenue or none at all. Not all of us can drop our lives at a whim to attend some last-minute event where people paint themselves with radium-based paint and try to pass it off as a "Sexually Liberating GuyDyke/GirlFag testimonial to the spirit of Sharess the Mighty!!!"

If you really want to change Maui for the good and not get all butthurt by some elected official or civil servant raping your civil rights, or promote an event that people might like, DO IT IN A TIMELY MANNER!!
