I thought rock and roll was about busting out of conformist stereotypes, and contests were about talent. Are you meaning to say that if the girl was in leather pants she would have got more credit? She put on a sweaty, emotional, competitive show- and high heels are dangerous if used incorrectly. Try wearing them next time you're on stage.
