We almost caught up w/ Europe, BC and so on when we got a legit car ferry going on the daily. Its too bad the people that don't want to use the ferry don't want anyone else to use it. I guess the burning of massive amounts of fuel, transportation of invasive species will have to be left to barge and airline companies that don't have an EIS either. But what would I know I'm from here and have been to all the islands by boat while burning less than one gallon of fuel...
