as a retired skater on the South Side,from SoCal.It's a shame that some places are still backwards and nostalgic on laws.This is the same fight that we fought all over SoCal with many city ordinances.Glad that we as whole were able to help show the communities back then what this was and what it meant to so many people involved.The West Side should've had this skatepark years ago.Cops here are more bored than cops on the mainland and I'm sure that helps them to harass these skaters of young and old.Keep your heads up.These snatches that bust skaters,need to do something about the meth/coke dealing homes in our neighborhoods.That is and always will be a more dire pressing issue.Besides,just what these kids need is a criminal record for doing some exercise and learning to express themselves in a non-criminal manner.To the Boys in Blue,who you serving and protecting by busting skaters and longboarders?
