great food,great service, great vibe!

Just got back from Max for the first time. Got the ceaser salad and garlic parmesan fries to start. Salad was huge for $7 and the fries rocked with garlicy goodness and shredded cheese throughout. We were almost full before we got our pizza. We opted for the peperoni pineapple thin crust. was really good. It was a slow sunday night but the waitress was attentive and quick to return with any extra little things we asked for. The owner stopped by to ask how everything was. There was a couple playing music ( not too loud or obnoxious, they were great)and the place had a nice atmosphere for a unpretentious restaurant. We live in haiku and are glad there is another place close that is such a gem. We will be back for sure to hit up the rest of the menu. Thanks MAX!
