The Throwups are playing a gig for a CD release party then what? Back to the same old dive bars to play their mundane sounding music. Obviously for this band to hit and tour the mainland would be too much for them, due to them getting drowned out by better acts. Nope, they would soon rather stay here and be a lounge band for the bars of Hawaii. Another thing,just because you open for marquee bands, don't mean you're any better than what you are. Plenty of shitty acts have opened for bigger bands than the bands that come through here.Seen these guys open for a few acts and can honestly say they are very very rough.Kahala wails, this Erin Smith gal makes our ears bleed from the horrible melodies she tries.Aloha.
